ORGANIC EVOLUTION: KING MEGA-MORPHING MONS

  • Supply: 72
  • Price: English Auction
  • Mint Date: Ongoing
  • Link

The weirdest auction happening on any chain right now (I say this with endearment).

Supermetal Bosch has been making his own deep-fried AI Pokemon for a few years now.

He has the digital NFTs (Super Metal Mons), plus physical figurines and even a working board game that people were playing at NFT NYC recently.

This new collection is made up of evolved versions of forgotten Super Metal Mons, glitched and glittered with other AI bits and then melted together in a collage that looks like it was exposed to the internet for too long.

The seventy-two 1/1s are being auctioned off daily, three at a time, for the next few weeks.

Strabismus by Sarah Zucker

  • Supply: 100
  • Price: Ranked Auction
  • Mint Date: May 1
  • Link

The latest entry from a popular OG who’s been minting art for 5 years.

This one’s like staring into the quantum fabric of spacetime (or a kaleidoscope).

Sarah first creates infinitely looping digital animations, then passes them through vintage broadcasting equipment to give them some distortion and rhythm.

We end up with richly textured interlacing waves that are enjoyable to look at for a few seconds before going cross-eyed.

The name Strabismus comes from a disorder that affects the way Sarah experiences depth in one eye. This is her attempt to let us see things the way she does.

World PvP

Link

An upcoming onchain social game on Base where players representing various countries battle for supremacy on a world stage.

We don’t know who’s making this, and it’s still quite cryptic, but the teased features have a lot of meme potential: customizable chatrooms to attack other nations, a presidential system guided by token holdings, and even nukes (Oppenheimer speedrun anyone?).

Username registrations close tonight, with the game scheduled to launch in the next few weeks.

I reckon it’s worth getting involved, especially given how big other onchain games like Crypto: The Game have gotten recently.

But take precautions, given the anon nature of it all.
